The wildfire news out of Southern California is horrifying and heartbreaking. Unimaginable loss. Parents fighting to keep their kids safe from smoke. Children asking when they get to go home. Homes engulfed in flames. Lives lost — and memories vanished. I’m grateful for the tireless work of firefighters, first responders, and community members who are looking out for their neighbors right now — making sure they have the food, supplies, and shelter that they need.
