We were hit with a barrage of attacks by Trump supporters trying to intimidate us before the inauguration. They are scared. We are not. They know our coverage has been relentless in calling Trump out for his fraud and broken promises. They were hoping Trump would coast by on Fox propaganda and the corporate media’s complicity. Sorry, but thanks to subscribers here on this Substack, the MeidasTouch Network now gets more views and engagement than corporate media. Here is an example of the attacks we’ve been getting. This person called us a bunch of “miserable sociopathic communist c****” and said JD Vance will “deal with us.” Here is the message we got: When we get messages like this, we know our coverage is having an impact—far beyond the nearly 6 billion views we’ve received on our YouTube channel. For example, we’ve been leading coverage exposing Donald Trump’s cancellation of his outdoor inauguration, which he is blaming on “cold weather.” We have also been leading the coverage on Trump’s meme coin grift, where he and Melania sold a “meme coin” during the inauguration to make billions off the presidency before Day 1. And as I’m sure you know, our coverage has been clear: don’t fall for Trump’s distractions. We’ve been calling Trump a Weapon of Mass Distraction (WMD) and reminding the country not to forget his broken promises. Prices are not lower. There is no peace in Ukraine as he promised. Housing is not more affordable. Trump has made us weaker, not stronger. The word of 2024 was “brain rot.” We believe the word of 2025 should be “rug pull”—meaning to con someone and pull the rug out from under them after making promises. We are now calling Trump’s presidency the “Rug Pull Presidency.” We are building solidarity here in the United States and internationally to oppose Trump—thanks to you!
