The fired NLRB and EEOC members are looking at legal options. In related news, the Trump administration is offering work-from-home federal employees the option of returning to in-office work or accepting an 8-month buyout. Axios scooped Trump’s plans, and the 8-month buyout figure was provided by the White House press office later in the day. Trump loses in court again, this time over his abrupt federal grant freeze… Hot off the AP wire, “A federal judge on Tuesday temporarily blocked a push from President Donald Trump to pause federal funding while his administration conducts an across-the-board ideological review to uproot progressive initiatives. The Trump administration plan plunged the U.S. government — and states and organizations that rely on federal funding — into panic and confusion and set the stage for a constitutional clash over control of taxpayer money. The order from U.S. District Judge Loren L. AliKhan came minutes before the funding freeze was scheduled to go into effect on Tuesday afternoon.” The stay lasts until Monday and applies to current programs.
