VICE PRESIDENT JD VANCE CAST THE TIE BREAKING VOTE TO CONFIRM THIS INCOMPETENT!
SENATE REPUBICANS WILL LIVE TO REGRET CONFIRMING THIS UNQUALIFIED MISFIT!
|
In less than EIGHT hours, the Senate is voting on whether to confirm President Trump’s nominee for Secretary of Defense. His name is Pete Hegseth and he’s a truly awful person.
Hegseth is a Fox News commentator who’s been credibly accused of sexual assault and spousal abuse. According to a 2017 police report, he sexually assaulted a drunk woman in a hotel and according to recent FBI interviews, his second wife had an “escape plan” and a safe word to tell her family in case she had to flee his physical abuse.
Hegseth is also known to regularly abuse alcohol and has made outrageous statements like that women shouldn’t be able to vote and that all Muslims should be killed.
This man is Donald Trump’s choice to run the Pentagon – and the most powerful military in the world.

| These obvious liabilities mean that we can’t let Hegseth near any position of power, let alone one that could compromise national security. He’s vulnerable to being bribed or blackmailed by foreign governments and can’t be trusted to oversee our military with his history of alcohol abuse, racism, sexism, and sexual assault.
But it’s not too late to stop an unqualified and deeply dangerous (credibly accused) rapist from becoming Secretary of Defense and endangering the whole world.
As it stands, 49 Senators oppose his confirmation and some others still are publicly undecided. All it would take is two more NO votes to stop his nomination in its tracks and send a clear message to the Trump administration that they can’t get away with this. We’re making the final push to tell the Senate to reject Hegseth in the next few crucial hours.

|
| After you’ve chipped in, call your Senators and demand that they vote against Hegseth’s nomination and sign our petition calling on the entire Senate to do the same.
Thank you for your support,
