The fight for democracy is an international effort. We are seeing authoritarian leaders across the world join forces to undermine democracy. It is clear to us at the MeidasTouch Network that we must expand internationally and build MeidasTouch Networks across the world that fight for democracy. We are fortunate to have millions of viewers in almost every country.
You may have noticed that over the past several weeks, our reporting has focused more heavily on international affairs. We have done deep dives into the politics of Canada, Mexico, the Bahamas, Peru, Brazil, North Korea, Romania, France, China, Georgia, Ukraine, Syria, and Russia, among other countries. This is deliberate.
Our goal is to expand our coverage gradually but forcefully on international developments, making connections between Trump’s reckless antics and those of other international despots, examining how their behavior impacts each nation and the world, and highlighting domestic and international efforts to counter these authoritarians.
Among the many major failings of American corporate media is its lack of focus on the international context of events. As an independent media network, we are committed to changing that. In fact, we are changing it right now before your eyes.
Our coverage has already been making a major impact in Canada. I am told we are influencing policy there and encouraging Members of Parliament to stand up to Trump because that’s what the people of Canada want to see. The people of Canada don’t want to be bullied, and they are comforted to know they have millions of American friends who support them.
Our videos about Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s response to Trump’s bullying antics have been viewed millions of times. Trudeau has increased his threats of retaliatory tariffs against America in response to Trump.
Yesterday, we produced a video showcasing the full House of Commons floor speech by Member of the NDP Party MP Charlie Angus, who delivered a powerful rebuke of Trump. Here is a {LINK} to our YouTube video.
From what our Canadian viewers have shared with me, there is little to no Canadian news coverage focusing on many of the dynamics we cover, which is incredible to hear.
MP Charlie Angus reposted the video we made about his speech, which is on its way to being viewed over 1 million times on YouTube. Here is what he posted:
I understand our videos have been shared throughout Canada, Mexico, and other countries.
We are actively working to build out our broadcasting capabilities in these and other countries, which will be a major goal of ours in 2025 and 2026. It is critical to build unity among people across the world to stand up to the billionaire oligarchy and its authoritarian agents. This is not going to be an easy task, but I am excited by the rapid progress we have achieved thus far.
Regardless of whether you are a paid subscriber or not, we thank you for your support of this network and for spreading these messages across the world. It is crucial that we continue to grow. Since we have zero outside investors, if you can become a paid subscriber, it goes a long way in helping us grow.
