TELL TELEGRAM: BAN ANIMAL TORTURE VIDEOS!

A global network of animal torturers is using Telegram to show videos of the cruelest torture of baby monkeys imaginable. Twisted individuals pay to watch these terrified animals being beaten, burned, mutilated, and killed — purely for entertainment.   Tell the messaging app Telegram to shut down channels associated with animal cruelty, immediately.

TELL TELEGRAM: STAND AGAINST THE TORTURE OF ANIMALS!

Telegram, a messaging app known for its privacy features, has become a breeding ground for animal torturers. Its encrypted messages and private groups allow sadists to share horrific videos without consequences.

Baby monkeys belong with their mothers, not in torture chambers!

The private groups pay torturers up to $200 per video to inflict extreme pain on terrified baby monkeys and other animals. Members vote on methods to use, then watch the torture, which includes "setting live monkeys on fire, injuring them with tools and even putting one in a blender.”

Monkeys should be left in the wild, and their habitats should be protected.

While baby monkeys suffer unimaginable pain due to these videos, Telegram refuses to take effective action. When confronted by BBC investigators about these sadistic crimes, Telegram's owners claimed they couldn't monitor private groups, choosing to protect abusers over innocent animals.   Telegram has agreed to share user data with authorities, but this move is not nearly enough.   Demand that Telegram stop making empty promises and take real action NOW.
