My own mother would constantly complain about Medicare and Social Security cuts. You guessed it, she was a life-long Republican who never, obviously, did any research either on the candidates or how her party voted on the issues she cared about. I explained to her and showed her actual documented proof on how her party voted on those issues. Didn’t change her mind one bit. People voting against their own best interests is insane and makes no sense. There is no amount of logic or proof that they will accept. The amount of ignorance in this country is astounding.
