We fund voter protection
WASHINGTON POST:
Ariz. county ordered to certify election as GOP lawyers sanctioned
Republicans in Arizona had been trying to delay certification of the election results on the basis of “voter fraud.”
But — you guessed it — no such voter fraud was evident. It was another pathetic attempt by Republicans to usurp the will of the people and undermine democracy.
But it’s not going to work — at least not this time.
A judge ruled that Maricopa county must certify the election results, and the GOP lawyers were sanctioned.
This one was a win, Frank. But if we’re going to keep fighting these battles to win, we need your help to support our work to fund voter protection staff in Arizona.
So today, will you donate a few dollars to Power the Vote to support our efforts to defend voting rights and democracy across the country? This is only the beginning.
Thank you,
Power the Vote
We Fund Voter Protection In 2020, we ran the Democratic Party’s Voter Protection Program in Georgia, when the state flipped blue for the first time in nearly 30 years. We pioneered a new model of voter protection, built on sustained investments and long-lasting relationships. Now, we’re building on that success and adapting the Georgia model to fight voter suppression in other states.
