Today is an important day for our campaign.
June marks the final month of the quarter — and the last month we have to boost our fundraising efforts before our Federal Elections Commission deadline at the end of the month.
With the state of our campaign and the obstacles we have to overcome ahead, we cannot afford to have our fundraising slow down in these vital moments. That's why we're launching a fundraising goal to reach $10,000 in these next 48 hours to ensure that we have what it takes to support and protect Jamaal while he fights for us in Congress.
We need as much grassroots power as possible over these final weeks in June if we want to reach our goal and show the establishment that our movement is here to stay. Can we count on you to show up for our campaign with a donation of $10 or more today so we can get a kickstart on our end-of-quarter fundraising?
We've seen what can happen when we leave the legislating to conservative, establishment-backed politicians. Over the last few months we've lost critical chances in gun violence prevention, we've seen harmful compromises in health care and reproductive care access, we've seen gridlock in our fight to combat climate change, and so much more.
Republicans and establishment Democrats are working in full force to stop Jamaal and our movement from bringing true transformative change to NY-16, and communities like it. Why? Because they know our progressive values are a threat to their profit-over-people politics, and they would much rather protect their wallets than their constituents.
But we know that Jamaal is determined and unafraid to hold these politicians accountable and ensure that we use our collective power to work towards true progress.
We're gearing up to post some of the strongest fundraising numbers our campaign has ever seen — and in order to do that, we're going to need your help. Please donate $10 or anything you are able to help us reach our $10,000 mid-month fundraising goal.
Let's do this,
Team Bowman
