What is the point of Joe Manchin? MAY 17 PRIMARY

 

Joe Manchin is at it AGAIN.   For the second time in as many months, Joe Manchin caucused with Mitch McConnell to stop the Senate from protecting abortion rights.   Bernie took to Twitter after the vote to ask the burning question: If you can’t stand for the most basic principles the Democratic party allegedly stands for, why are you caucusing with Democrats at all? Honestly, with Democrats like Joe Manchin, who needs Republicans? As BNC candidate Malcolm Kenyatta often says, “If you want to change the Senate, you have to change the Senators.”   Charles Booker and Malcolm Kenyatta are both up for primary election this Tuesday, May 17th. Both of them are running for seats currently held by Republicans.   When we flip those seats, the Senate swing vote belongs to progressives – and Joe Manchin’s power trip gets shut down.   If you want to strip Joe Manchin of his power, we need your help.
