Suddenly, McConnell thinks convicting Trump is unconstitutional

Hi there,

Have you heard? Mitch McConnell is now claiming that convicting Trump in the Senate is unconstitutional.

If holding presidents accountable for inciting violent riots that threaten our democracy isn't constitutional, then what is?

The dismissal of Trump's hearings in the Senate is only bad news -- Trump will be eligible to run again in 2024, and Republicans will now have confirmation they'll never face real punishment for enabling extremists.

McConnell and his fellow Senate Republicans know how to work the system, but we can't keep on letting them get away with their abuses of power. We need to remind Republicans they answer to the American people before February 8. That's why today we need to know if our supporters will stand with us.
