"Democracy Has Prevailed," President Biden Says in Inaugural Address
As he begins his Inaugural Address, President Biden speaks about his election
victory and what it means for the country in light of events since November 3.
"The will of the people has been heard and the will of the people has been heeded.
We've learned again that democracy is precious, democracy is fragile. And at this
hour Democracy has prevailed," he says. He also thanks former Presidents Clinton,
Bush, and Obama for attending, and former President Carter, who was unable to
attend the ceremony.
