Man suffers accidental gunshot wound in Woods Hole

 

THERE ARE INADEQUATE DETAILS TO DETERMINE FACTS: DID HE HAVE A CONCEALED CARRY PERMIT? WHY DID HE HAVE A GUN? IF HE HAD A PERMIT, MAYBE HE WAS NOT COMPETENT TO HAVE THAT PERMIT. 

HOPEFULLY THERE WILL BE FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION THAT PROVIDES THE FACTS.

FORTUNATELY, NO INNOCENT PERSON WAS INJURED.


Man suffers accidental gunshot wound in Woods Hole

WOODS HOLE — A man at the Steamship Authority’s Woods Hole terminal suffered a torso injury after he reportedly shot himself by accident.

The incident happened at the terminal’s bus shelter and was reported to the Steamship Authority at about 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, the authority said in a statement.

The man was treated by Falmouth Fire-Rescue Department crews and no one else was injured, according to the statement.

The authority is cooperating with local law enforcement in the investigation, the statement said.
