While many may not be the biggest fans of President Donald Trump and his family, his daughter Ivanka Trump reportedly views them as the next Kennedys.
A new book titled Kushner Inc. by journalist Vicky Ward outlines Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner’s time in the White House, but not in the most flattering light.
According to Harper’s Bazaar, Ward conducted interviews with 220 people who know the couple over a two-year period, with some claiming the pair are “power hungry” and using their positions in the White House to gain access to those with power and influence.
Gary Cohn, a former economic advisor for President Trump, says Ivanka expects she will one day become commander-in-chief, following in the footsteps of her father.
“She thinks she’s going to be president of the United States,” Cohn told Ward following his departure from the White House.
According to Town and Country, Ivanka believes her father’s reign as president is “the beginning of a great American dynasty” for the Trump family.
"She thinks this is like the Kennedys, the Bushes, and now the Trumps,” Cohn has claimed.
While Ivanka is clearly ambitious, the new tell-all book claims the 37-year-old is actually her father’s “greatest weakness”, and her relationship with the president is described as “more complex anyone could fathom”.
nterestingly, another book published last year, titled Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, also detailed Ivanka’s ambitions to become the first female US President.
The 2018 book also claimed President Trump placed his daughter and her husband in advisor roles against the advice of “almost everyone they knew”.
