WHEN DEMOCRATS TURN OUT: The Hill: "Pelosi, McConnell clash over next coronavirus bill"




 
 

 
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is already thinking three moves ahead to try and help average Americans suffering under this economic and public health crisis. According to The Hill, “Pelosi has…moved aggressively to outline what she views as top priorities for Democrats in the next measure: transportation, free coronavirus treatment, more money for states, and other issues such as worker protections and boosted paid family and sick leave.”
 
Meanwhile, Mitch McConnell and the GOP have decided to sit on their hands and watch from Capitol Hill as Americans lose their jobs, become sick, and again have to bear the consequences of Republican inaction.
 
Nancy Pelosi will not give up on ensuring that all Americans are supported through these troubling times. Engaged Democrats across the country will need to have her back in the weeks ahead, so we need to hear from you today:
