It feels like everything has changed as a result of this pandemic, and that includes campaigning. For the last month and for the indefinite future, we’ve had to cancel all in-person fundraising events to support Adam’s re-election campaign, as well as fundraisers to help keep the House blue and help frontline Democrats running in red-to-blue districts.
But one thing that has stayed the same is that our strong, grassroots community is more determined than ever to make a difference this fall. We’ve been honored and energized by the small-dollar donations that have continued to come in through our website and social media, even without asking.
And when we did ask for your help for nonprofit organizations that are feeding scores of Americans, you gave more than $250,000, a truly remarkable sum. Your continued generosity, even at this difficult time, has helped keep Adam hard at work meeting the needs of constituents and country, and making sure we expand our Democratic House majority come November.
But we’ll be honest:
We’ve had the slowest month of fundraising in a long time this April, and we’re coming up on our end-of-month deadline this Thursday. Will you help us catch up by making a donation of $10 or more today? We understand this is a difficult time for many – so please only donate only if you’re able to.
So far during the coronavirus crisis, Adam has continued to fight for the people, working to pass emergency relief bills in the House, and to hold this President accountable for how they’re spent.
Now, he’s calling for even bigger steps to assist workers, small businesses, and individuals through a payroll guarantee; funding for state, local, and tribal governments; no-excuse vote-by-mail for every state; and hazard pay for our heroic frontline workers.
While we all stay at home and do our best to combat this virus, Adam is working for each and every one of us, and we can’t afford to lose him in Congress. The attacks on Adam have never let up, not on Fox, and not from the President or his allies:
