Today, three Courage to Change candidates are facing off in critical primaries:
- Jessica Cisneros (TX-28) is running to unseat Henry Cuellar, an incumbent Democrat who votes with Trump 70% of the time, was endorsed by Koch Industries, and takes money from Big Oil and private prisons.
- Cristina Tzintzún Ramirez (TX-Sen) is running to defeat John Cornyn in Texas on a platform including Medicare for All and a Green New Deal.
- Georgette Gómez (CA-53) is running in an open primary against an opponent who received lots of super PAC support.
Here’s the reality: AOC needs more allies in Congress to win Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, and an economy that works for all. Electing these leaders is critical if we’re going to have progressive majorities in the House and Senate.
Can you split a contribution among these three candidates to give them a last-minute boost? With their primaries happening right now, your donation could be the difference between victory and defeat.
In close races like these, every dollar counts. We expect our slate of candidates to be heavily outspent. But their people-powered campaigns can overcome that disadvantage if we can even the odds a little.
Thanks for all your hard work,
Team AOC
