McSally: “Mark Kelly is flying on Bernie Sanders’ wing, and I’m flying on your wing, President Trump.”
This isn’t the first time McSally went after Kelly -- she launched a campaign ad that also attacks Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff for holding the president accountable and Mark Kelly for agreeing with the majority of Americans that the president abused his power and should be removed from office.
She even pulled a classic Trump move and tied Kelly to Rep. Ilhan Omar to pander to the racist base of the GOP.
Martha McSally has proved she's willing to do and say anything to win -- she's had to pay tens of thousands in fines for FEC violations committed during her previous campaigns for Congress.
And if she wins in November, Trump and Mitch McConnell will keep control of the Senate. They'll ramp up the attacks on immigrants and the Affordable Care Act and do nothing to stop climate change. And since they've already acquitted him, there'll be no limit to what Trump will do to abuse his power.
Democrat Mark Kelly is running to flip this seat blue and kick this Trump sycophant out of Congress. His wife, former congresswoman Gabby Giffords, was shot while meeting with her constituents in 2011. He and Gabby have become national leaders in the campaign for sensible gun reform, dedicating themselves to fighting the influence of the NRA in this country.
Republicans are going to do everything they can to keep McSally in office -- especially because Mitch McConnell's control over the Senate relies on holding onto Arizona. And with her votes acquitting Trump, she'll have the support of the entire Trump fundraising machine. He already held a rally with McSally in 2018 and just had his first Arizona rally of 2020.
