COURTS SHUT THE TRAP

The Trump regime built a two-stage trap for immigrants. If you were born in one of 39 countries, they flagged you as a national-security risk—which counted against you in every application including green cards, work permits, and citizenship.
Then the regime froze all processing of applications from those 39 countries—collecting $1 billion in fees from 2 million applicants it never intended to help.
Lavida, a spokesperson for Project Press Unpause—a grassroots campaign organizing affected people to fight back—said: “We are legal immigrants, the kind this administration claims to only want, placed under an indefinite hold because of our country of birth—something we cannot control.”
Last week, two federal judges shut it down. US District Judge George Russell III ruled: “USCIS does not have discretion to decide not to adjudicate at all.” US District Judge Julia Kobick struck down both the nationality penalty and the processing freeze—the first federal ruling to take on both discriminatory practices at once.
The regime took a billion dollars from immigrants and tried to bury their futures. Two courts just buried the Trump regime’s trap instead.

Trump promised lower prices on day one. He’s delivered the opposite—and the regime is paying for it in the polls. On Friday, a White House official admitted: “The vibe right now is we know we are already cooked in the midterms.”
As of today, gas is at $4.45 a gallon—up nearly $1.25 since Trump’s Iran war launched in late February. It’s the highest price in four years. And Federal Reserve economists say Trump’s tariffs are why inflation hasn’t dropped to pre-pandemic levels.

Even a Fox poll now has voters trusting Democrats more than Republicans on the economy 52% to 48%.
November is coming.
WES MOORE BUILDS MIDTERM FIREWALL

Trump is trying to steal the midterms. Maryland Gov. Wes Moore just made that harder, signing the Maryland Voting Rights Act of 2026 to ban election methods designed to reduce Black and minority voting power.
The law also gives Maryland the authority to take violators to court before they can do damage. And it gives Moore a new path to redraw congressional districts ahead of November.
Moore was clear about the stakes: “The voting rights we hold today are heirlooms fought for and secured by the generations before us, and we will not sit on the sidelines when those fundamental rights are threatened.”
And Moore didn’t stop there, slamming Trump directly: “I will not bend the knee. I think he’s very quickly learning that I’m a Marylander and I’m built different.”
The regime’s midterm strategy just ran into a Maryland firewall.
CBS FACES PUSHBACK FROM THEIR OWN

CBS News reporter Sharyn Alfonsi spent months reporting on the brutal conditions inside the notorious mega-prison in El Salvador called CECOT—where the Trump regime was sending Venezuelan migrants.
Her 60 Minutes report was screened five times, cleared by the network’s internal legal and editorial review process. It was fully sourced and ready to air on December 21—but her bosses pulled the story the night before.
In an internal memo that leaked out, Alfonsi directly pushed back against the move: “The public will correctly identify this as corporate censorship.” She now faces the potential of being fired, and was recently the victim of someone sending a SWAT team to her house.
None of that stopped Alfonsi from walking into the National Press Club and drawing the line, where she accepted the Ridenhour Prize for Truth-Telling last Thursday.
“Our industry is afraid of the wrong things—offending power, losing access,” Alfonsi said. “But what we should all be afraid of is silence. There is a fine line between being a team player and being an accomplice.”

She was right to refuse to change the story. I watched it on Canadian 60 Minutes because Canada 🇨🇦 ran it in its entirety. I quit a job before they could fire me because I refused to do something that I thought could be illegal but definitely was immoral. I did this as a single mother back in the 1980’s
Agree, it is theft knowing full well your intentions were to take the fees and not fullfil your contract. Trump did that to contractors from the 1970s onward. NewYorkers tried to tell the voters Trump is a thief. He signed contracts with small businesses than refused to pay, using excuses and lawsuits knowing they didn't have the deep pockets to sue. I'm glad there are some journalists left with integrity. Yes, I was a Whistleblower and I didn't care when I lost my job. I never traded my integrity for power.
My father-in-law was one of those businesses that he screwed. Trump needs to go to jail for all the people he has screwed, both literally and figuratively.
So sorry, Trump has NO INTEGRITY. We tried to tell the voters. It felt like no one listened.

A friend and her husband became citizens in the summer of 2024. They had been green card holders for about 10 years so they could have applied during Trump 1.0. I helped her study for the test.
Their daughter is a citizen and was born when my friend's husband was working on an HB1 visa.
I still worry that Trump could start denaturalizing citizens
Personally I would like to pull Trump’s citizenship in the human race. He lacks all qualifications of humanity, empathy, honesty, self-reflection. None of us is perfect except Trump. He is a perfect example of a self absorbed, lying, cheating S.O.B.
This Administration should be charged with grand theft. Starting with the tariffs (taxpayers will never see a refund), cancelling research grants that weren’t completed, charging fees to individuals seeking green cards or citizenship and not following through on promised services, deporting individuals and not giving them access to their bank accounts, filing frivolous political lawsuits (defamation) so defendants have to spend their own money, filing absurd lawsuits to recover personal money (IRS)etc. There are simply too many examples to cover them all.

Collecting money from people you have no intention of providing the service is called fraud. Nothing new coming from the orange monster.
I absolutely would have refused to change a story I knew was correct and well sourced. There are now many many other places for an honest reporter to work. I also would have put the story up on my YouTube channel to make sure it was seen. Now it is more important than ever for the truth to see the light of day. Thank you for the work you do. The billion dollars collected from immigrants without providing the service promised is theft. That money should be refunded or the service should be provided. If not, the government should be charged just like any business would be.
As far as Sharyn Alfonsi - this is the kind of person we want to hold up as an example to our children. Stand up for your beliefs.
Trump is an example of a schoolyard bully and is setting a terrible example for our children - he is making it okay to denigrate anyone he doesn't like and call them names.
And 86 47 - how ridiculous to charge James Comey when Trump himself (in November 2025) posted that senators should be put to death for a video they released suggesting that US military should refuse unlawful orders. Why isn't Trump being charged? He outright said it - not posted a vague photo of shells. In my life 86 meant throw it in the trash can.
