Everything we are fighting for right now runs through one simple truth: to stop the madness, we must take back control of the House. As long as Republicans are in charge, the fights I have been leading since January are blocked, delayed, or distorted. I am doing everything I can with the tools I have. But the truth is, our ability to deliver real change depends on the majority. That is why this first end-of-quarter deadline of the Election Year matters so much. If we are serious about taking back the House and moving this country forward, we need to build the resources right now to compete and win. I have stood on the House floor to try to stop unauthorized wars before they begin. But without a Democratic majority, accountability is optional, and oversight is weakened. I have pushed back against cuts to nutrition programs while families struggle to afford groceries. But the current majority is willing to rip food assistance away from people who need it most. I have demanded real guardrails on immigration enforcement, so we protect both our security and our values. But instead, we see proposals rooted in fear instead of facts. I introduced legislation to change failed foreign policy that has hurt families and fueled instability abroad. But meaningful progress requires a Congress willing to act. I have spoken out about the real cost of living in this country. We all know what we're paying at the grocery store, at the pharmacy, at the gas pump. We are tired of being told everything is fine when it is not. House Republicans must think we're all stupid. As if we can't see exactly what's happening here through their cheap façade and lazy lies. We can see it all with our own eyes. The work we put in right now to regain control of the House will decide whether we: Invest in ending hunger or deepen it Prevent reckless international conflicts or create them Lower costs or ignore the pressure families feel every day Protect civil liberties or allow them to be chipped away We must restore order if we want to make any progress on the issues that matter most to everyday people.
