[Your signature needed}: Palestinian children in Gaza are falling asleep “weeping out of sheer hunger.”

We need to be louder — join us »

“I feel like I failed as a mother. Your children’s hunger makes you feel like you are a bad mother.”

— S., nurse and displaced mother of two in Gaza1

Amnesty researchers have been documenting Israel’s ongoing genocide in the occupied Gaza Strip — interviewing displaced families, pregnant women, humanitarian workers, and doctors who are fighting to keep children alive.

Their testimonies reveal what the Israeli government wants to conceal: this famine is not an accident. It is the direct consequence of Israel’s deliberate campaign of starvation of Palestinians in Gaza.

We need your help to demand that Israel immediately and unconditionally lift its illegal blockade, restore the UN-led humanitarian system, and end its genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.

SPEAK OUT TO END FAMINE AND GENOCIDE

For months, we’ve documented rising rates of starvation, which have worsened as Israel continues to deny humanitarian aid. Instead, Israeli authorities created a dangerous militarized scheme masked as aid: the so-called “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation” (GHF)2 is not a lifeline — it's a death trap. Food lines have turned into war zones: over 800 people have been killed and more than 4,000 injured while trying to access distribution points.

The UN and global aid organizations have universally condemned the GHF for undermining established aid distribution networks and violating core international humanitarian principles.

As a result, Palestinian babies are being left to waste away, forcing their families into an impossible choice: helplessly hearing the cries of their emaciated children pleading for food, or risking death or injury in a desperate search for aid.

And while Israel weaponizes hunger, it is also silencing the truth by deliberately targeting and killing Palestinian journalists in Gaza. No conflict in modern history has seen a higher number of journalists killed. Still, Palestinian reporters are risking everything to document atrocities that would otherwise remain hidden.

We in the U.S. have a unique opportunity to change the situation on the ground: the deadly GHF is backed by the U.S. government, which is exactly why we are calling on U.S. lawmakers to end their support immediately and press for the restoration of a UN-led humanitarian system.

We are also calling on the U.S. to stop sending weapons to Israel that are being used to kill and maim civilians and journalists.

Join us to expose this deadly deception and demand unimpeded humanitarian access for Palestinians in Gaza immediately.

Palestinian children cannot wait another day. Warehouses of food, medicine, clean water, and fuel sit untouched while Israel blocks trusted humanitarian organizations from delivering aid through the UN-led system.

Thank you,

P.S. Even our own colleagues and partners on the ground are struggling to survive. Our fieldworker reports back to us: “We are not only dying from bombings. We are dying from hunger too. We are torn apart watching our children suffer from hunger. There is nothing to sustain life. Life in Gaza has become unlivable. We live in humiliation and degradation.3

We must act now — we cannot wait a moment longer to hold our lawmakers more accountable.
