Stand with vets abandoned by Hudson

 

W are seeing the wreckage you get when a carnival barking game show host worms his way into the White House and starts handing the VA to a pack of bootlicking business stooges who only see dollar signs. Veterans are now being cut off from therapy they’ve depended on for years.  Complex PTSD? Chronic depression? Doesn’t matter. If your care takes too long, you’re a damn liability on a spreadsheet.  A Marine who survived Iraq and Afghanistan and battles suicidal thoughts was told after ten years of treatment that his one-on-one therapy was “terminated,” because management stamped him as “stable” on paper.  But there is nothing stable about living with PTSD that keeps you out of crowded places, flinching at fireworks, and fighting off the same darkness that once nearly killed you.  These decisions came straight from the culture Trump built at the VA, where budgets get gutted, loyalty to his agenda matters more than clinical judgment, and veterans are treated like numbers on a balance sheet. This is exactly why I went to the VA’s damn doorstep myself and hand-delivered a petition signed by nearly 90,000 Americans demanding they stop playing games with veterans’ lives. My opponent Richard Hudson has the gall to brand himself a “Veterans Representative” while serving as the chief financial kingpin of the MAGA racket. Every contract stripped from the VA, every push toward privatization, every policy that tells a veteran to get out of care early has Hudson’s fingerprints on it, because his job is to bankroll the scam. Chip in now. Let’s rip Hudson out of Congress, cut off the MAGA money supply at its source, and build a Congress that funds veterans’ care instead of feeding Trump’s goon squad of profiteers!
