Democratic U.S. Senator Alex Padilla of California was handcuffed and forcefully removed from Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem's news conference in Los Angeles on Thursday. The incident occurred as he tried to speak about immigration raids that have sparked protests across California and other areas. This video was provided by Sen. Padilla's office. June 12, 2025.
