This week, Republicans in Congress are continuing their anti-environment agenda by releasing their partisan Farm Bill - which seeks to cut SNAP nutrition benefits and conservation efforts that our SEEC Members passed in the Inflation Reduction Act. Our coalition, led by SEEC Climate and Agriculture Task Force Co-Chairs Chellie Pingree and Kim Schrier, is fighting back and urging lawmakers to hold the line against Republican efforts to erode environmental progress and slash nutrition program funding.
