The votes are in and the election has officially been called: Summer Lee is the Democratic nominee for Pennsylvania's 12th Congressional district.
We are so grateful for every single person who helped this campaign deliver a victory for our movement in PA-12.
They told us we couldn't take on corporate power and win. That it wasn't our turn yet. That we couldn't change the way we build power.
But we proved them wrong.
This was never about any one person. This was about building a movement that reflected our community and delivered for us all. Thank you to every voter, organizer, staffer, and endorser who believed in us.
Now, it's on to November. The fight for the future of our fundamental rights and reproductive justice depends on delivering a Democratic Governor and Senator for our Commonwealth in six months.
Six months can pass by in the blink of an eye, and we need to keep up our momentum.
Summer is committed to fighting for Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, and workers' rights, and in Congress, she'll work every day to bring our country closer to economic, environmental, and racial justice.
The stakes of this race are high, but the cost of inaction is even higher. Please, we need your support to ramp up our organizing program, advertising, and campaign operations for the general election.
