The Atrocities of the Past 24 Hours Over the past day, Israel has unleashed another round of indiscriminate bombing across Gaza. The victims were not soldiers. They were children — some decapitated, some with their limbs torn off, some bloodied and still struggling to breathe in their final moments. These are images no human being should have to see, and yet the world has grown accustomed to ignoring them. This is where I am going to force you to look. Not because it is easy, but because we cannot speak of law, morality, or civilization while ignoring the children who are being shredded alive. I have 100 more I could share. The past 24 hours have been just that atrocious. America’s Role Sisters and brothers, do not forget this: nearly 100 percent of the weapons dropped on Gaza come from the United States. Every missile. Every bomb. Every bullet. They are manufactured here, financed by Congress, and delivered to Israel with our tax dollars. That means every time you see a child’s body torn apart in Gaza, you are looking at an American weapon. You are looking at the consequences of bipartisan votes in Washington. You are looking at what it means when a superpower shields its ally from every attempt at accountability. This is not Israel alone. It is Israel with America’s blessing, America’s money, and America’s cover. The Law in Ashes International law was written to prevent this very thing. The Geneva Conventions forbid the targeting of civilians. They forbid attacks on hospitals, schools, and shelters. They forbid starvation blockades. They forbid collective punishment. And yet Gaza has been turned into a killing field where all of those prohibitions are violated daily. And here is the bitter truth: Israel and the United States openly mock international law, refuse to follow it, and have even sanctioned judges and prosecutors of the International Criminal Court for daring to file charges against Israeli leaders for obvious war crimes. If the law cannot restrain the powerful, then it is not law at all. It is theater. Why You Must See I know many of you will feel sick watching these clips. You should. That is the point. If we hide the images, we help sanitize the crime. If we sanitize the crime, the lie that this is “self-defense” or “precision warfare” survives another day. The truth is that these are not accidents of war. They are deliberate choices. Israel has made the choice to bomb neighborhoods knowing children are there. The United States has made the choice to keep funding the bombs. And our political class has made the choice to look away. If you choose to look away too, then you are participating in the cover-up. The Precedent Think about what this normalization means. If America can bankroll the starvation and bombing of Gaza’s children without consequence, why should any other state respect the rules of war? Why should Russia, China, or any armed power accept limits, if the world accepts Israel’s open defiance? This is not just about Gaza. It is about the collapse of the entire system of restraints on war. The precedent is being set that children can be incinerated with impunity, so long as you are aligned with Washington. The Reckoning Family, you cannot unknow this. The images will haunt you. They should. The people of Gaza do not get the privilege of turning off the screen; they live inside the nightmare. And we, as Americans, are forced to pay for it. That is why I am showing you. That is why I am refusing to let you look away. Because if the powerful can bomb children into dust while calling it security, then every child on earth is endangered. This is the reckoning Gaza forces upon us: either law applies to everyone, or law applies to no one. Either children are sacred, or children are disposable.
