WHAT DID THIS CLOWN DO? SAVING LIVES? WHEN? HOW?

Former President Donald Trump suggested Monday that he spent time "saving lives" during two recent hurricanes.

During a rally in North Carolina, Trump recalled his discussion with Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL).

TRUMP LIES!

"You know, one thing I was — I was — Marco was talking, and I said, you had — you got hit so hard by that hurricane," Trump told the crowd. "And we cared only — we didn't care about what we're doing today."

NEVER HAPPENED! TRUMP LIES!

"We only cared about saving lives. And we did a good job."\

TRUMP LIES!

Trump implied that he saved more lives than the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), which he said "did a horrible job."

TRUMP LIES!
"You know why?" he asked. "Because they've spent all their money on bringing in murderers and a lot of people."

NEVER HAPPENED! TRUMP LIES!

"They spent all their money on bringing in illegal migrants."

Vice President Kamala Harris has called Trump's claims about FEMA funding very misleading.

"There's a lot of mis- and disinformation being pushed out there by the former president about what is available in particular to the survivors of Helene," Harris said following the hurricane. "It's extraordinarily irresponsible: it's about him, it's not about you. And the reality is that FEMA has so many resources that are available to folks who desperately need them."
