HAVEN'T WE HAD ENOUGH LIES?
MUCH OF THE MANURE INCLUDED IN PROJECT 2025 IS KOCH AGENDA FROM DECADES AGO FLESHED OUT!
This week, new reports revealed that JD Vance has even deeper ties to the architects of Project 2025 than we knew.
The New York Times reported on Tuesday that in 2017, JD Vance authored the introduction for the Heritage Foundation’s 2017 Index of Culture and Opportunity, a policy document that advocated for banning abortion and (yes, this is real, we swear) criticized married women who view pornography.
The latest Vance revelation is more bad news for Donald Trump. Despite hundreds of connections between his campaign and Project 2025, Trump has been trying to distance himself from the right-wing plan to take over the government.
While Trump keeps running from Project 2025, Fox News has started a gauzy PR campaign to soften Project 2025’s image. The result is 1984-style headlines like this one, talking about the project as “non-partisan” and having a rich history in politics that goes back to Reagan.
Fox has also called Project 2025 a fake liberal “bogeyman” and “talking point” that’s being used to “scare” voters out of voting for Donald Trump.
And they are doubling down on Trump’s absurd lie that he knows nothing about Project 2025, calling out Democrats when they point out the many Trump campaign connections to the project. Connections like, Project 2025 authors the Heritage Foundation sponsoring the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.
So that’s the bad news. The good news? COURIER and our eleven battleground newsrooms across the country are working around the clock to expose Project 2025 and fight back. Just take a look:
