First, they removed mentions of ‘climate change’ from state law. Now, they’re not allowing it in science textbooks.

Tampa Bay Times: We ought to just put out word, ‘Let’s do all of our business on private, bring-your-own cellphones, [Judge] Marsh said. 'Then we don’t need public records laws because there’ll be no public records, right?'...'Why is this individual using a private cellphone and thus avoiding public records?' Marsh asked. 'Your honor, I don’t have an answer for that',[DeSantis Administration Attorney] Lunny said.

Banning textbooks with mentions of ‘climate change’ is not only a disservice to our students, it’s a disservice to all Floridians as we face this threat.

Can you join us to demand Florida Republicans stop trying to ban students from learning the reality of the climate crisis and the mounting threat we face if no action is taken? Students deserve to know the truth.

The vast majority of Floridians understand the reality of the climate crisis. We feel it when we step outside in the record-breaking heat. We see it during hurricane season as storms rapidly intensify and grow more intense, fueled by scorching hot ocean temperatures. And now our streets flood, even on sunny days.

Our children deserve the freedom to learn about the effects of the climate crisis. The reality of what’s happening can’t be denied, and we must take action. Today’s students must be aware of this crisis and what must be done to prevent the worst impacts.

please sign our petition to demand the Florida GOP stop denying reality and preventing our students from learning about it. Our students must be prepared for the world they’re entering, not blind to the reality of our current crisis.

Pretending this problem doesn’t exist will not make it go away. It will just delay the action we must take before it’s too late.

Now is the time to address the real issues facing the people of Florida — lowering costs, raising wages, protecting reproductive freedom, and building an affordable future for all of us — but we can’t do that as long as the Florida GOP is holding us back.

The support we provide to Democratic candidates in flippable seats across the state has already been proven effective. Antonio, so please pitch in what you can right now to provide the resources we need to help break the GOP supermajority and take back our state.

We’re fighting to ensure all Floridians have the freedom to be healthy, prosperous, and safe. It’s a fight we must win, and any support you can provide will help us support Democrats in close, can’t-lose races across our state.
