They heard a whimper. They went inside the house. They found the dog. She was scared. The kind person picked up the dog. They held her gently. They could feel her bones. They knew she needed help. They took the dog to the vet. The vet looked at her. The vet said she was very sick. But the vet could help. The vet gave the dog medicine. The vet gave her food. The dog started to feel better. Now the dog has a new home. She has a new friend. She wags her tail. She is happy. The dog and her friend are together. They are happy. They start a new life.
