We sent a lot of fundraising emails ahead of last week's major FEC fundraising deadline, and I have to tell you: this team's response was nothing short of incredible.
Because of you, we’re going to file a strong report—and what is especially gratifying is seeing how deeply grassroots-powered this movement really is.
Take a look at these stats from September:
- 10,079 individual donors stepped up to power our campaign.
- 41% were first-time donors joining our team for the very first time.
- $18 was our average donation—proving that regular folks chipping in what they can are driving this entire operation.
Not to mention...our contributions came flooding in from all across California.
I can't thank you enough for believing in this work, fighting for our democracy, and having my back. Building a campaign that doesn't rely on corporate PACs or dark money special interests means everything depends on grassroots supporters like you standing with us.
We’re keeping the momentum rolling, but as we enter this next critical stretch, we can't afford to slow down for a second. Election Day is just over a month away, so it’s full speed ahead from now until November 4.
