The man who risked his life for animals has a birthday today

 

Alex Pacheco, often described as the "Father of the Modern Day Animal Rights Movement in the U.S." My name is Catherine, and I am writing to you as a volunteer who cares deeply about animals. Today, I’m excited to celebrate the birthday of an activist who has inspired me — a remarkable animal advocate who has been arrested over 60 times while standing up for animals in need. Here’s to a great person, a tireless voice for the voiceless, and someone whose example reminds us all to keep fighting for a kinder world.  He also founded the nonprofit 600 Million Stray Dogs Need You: Alex Pacheco.
