It's embarrassing enough when the media has to come out and fact check a politician and say, ah, they lied about this. Oh, they were totally wrong about this. Right? That's humiliating, but it's even more humiliating when a member of your own family has to come out and publicly fact check you. And unfortunately, for Kellyann Conway, her daughter Claudia, had to do that very thing this week after Kellyann posted a praising post on social media of Donald Trump's running mate, JD Vance. So with those few sentences, Kellyann Conway got called out by her own daughter in front of the entire world on social media. That's gotta sting, right? That's gonna probably make dinners around the table at night. A little bit awkward for a while, but I am glad that Claudia Conway did that because she is reminding people that, Hey, while y'all are all sitting here praising this guy, you're basically being duped. You're being conned. Not to mention, as she points out, he's also an extremist, no marriage equality, right? Man and woman only, no exceptions for rape and incest for abortions, but also he's a political opportunist. That's why back in 2016, he compared Donald Trump to America's Hitler. And then he changed his tune, of course, when he realized, oh wait. There's a lot of privilege and a lot of money to be had if I fall in line with this guy and start kissing his. Which of course is why he became a senator in the first place. Had JD Vance not had that change of heart that happened, of course, conveniently right around that time, uh, he wouldn't be in the Senate today. Most of us would've forgotten his book would've forgotten about all of it, right? We wouldn't be talking about him anymore. He would just be a person who once wrote a book that was a bestseller and then went on to obscurity, happens all the time.
But he had that change of heart, right? He saw the light, told Sean Hannity this week that, oh, I fell for the media's lies, and I love this man now so much. No, you don't. If it were politically expedient for you to dump Donald Trump right now, you would do it in a heartbeat. Same thing with Donald Trump and you, because y'all are two peas in a very narcissistic, opportunistic conman pod. And Claudia Conway called out her mother for completely ignoring those facts.
