Update on what Stacey has done since Friday

Stacey Abrams for Governor

Since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade on Friday, Stacey Abrams has been out there making sure folks know exactly what the stakes are for Georgians in this election.

She spoke with women in Georgia. She recorded a video for social media. She raised money for organizations providing reproductive care. She emailed you. She went on CNN, MSNBC and Fox News. All to share this message:

Brian Kemp is an extremist who is a danger to the women of Georgia, the LGBTQ+ community of Georgia and women of color in particular. He signed an extreme 6-week abortion ban that will be in effect any day now, and he has said he won’t stop there.

Georgians cannot afford four more years under Kemp. Please, can you make your next donation to our campaign and ensure we elect Stacey Abrams as the next Governor of Georgia?

The threats to women — especially poor, Black, brown and rural women — and LGBTQ+ people are not a theory.

The same day that that the Supreme Court struck down Roe, a notice was filed in the 11th Circuit, which means Brian Kemp’s abortion ban will become the law in Georgia, possibly as soon as next week.

These attacks do not have to be permanent. If we elect Stacey Abrams, she will defend the right to an abortion, stand up for women’s reproductive rights and protect the rights of all Georgians.

But we are up against a dangerous opponent who’s already shown he will do anything he can to win. We need a massive grassroots team on our side if we’re going to defeat him. Can you make your next donation to elect Stacey Abrams right now?

Thanks for all you do,

Abrams for Georgia
