Important Sunday Message from MeidasTouch

Hey everybody, it’s Ben Meiselas, co-founder of the MeidasTouch Network.

As you know, these Sunday posts are my favorite of the week. It’s our Sunday coffee tradition, where I get to sit down with a cup of coffee and spend a few minutes reflecting on the week with all of you.

And as I sit here this morning, I keep coming back to one thought: this was the week Donald Trump officially lost the culture.

Now, I don’t mean that he wasn’t already losing support. I don’t mean that he was ever truly embraced by the culture in any meaningful way. But this week felt different.

This week, we saw athletes, entertainers, business leaders, and people far outside the traditional political world calling him out openly and forcefully. It feels even stronger than what we saw during his first term.

I’ve noticed football players speaking out. Athletes speaking out. Performers distancing themselves from him. Musical acts canceling appearances connected to him.

His ridiculous “Freedom 250” concert is cancelled. The UFC spectacle he’s trying to build is already becoming a mess.

People don’t want to be associated with him.

And when you combine all of that with the Epstein files cover-up, the catastrophic handling of the Iran war, soaring costs, unaffordable housing, economic anxiety, and the constant manipulation and chaos, people are simply exhausted with this regime.

They’re done.

His approval numbers reflect it, but what stands out to me is that it has finally penetrated the broader culture. People feel comfortable speaking out publicly now. They feel comfortable saying what they’ve been thinking for a long time.

And that’s important.

As I take another sip of coffee and think about this week, Trump looks weaker than ever.

You had the bizarre Walter Reed visit followed by claims that he’s in perfect health when he’s never looked worse.

You have endless secrecy, endless cover-ups, endless distractions. Then you have his social media posts late into the night, filled with anger, division, and hate.

Americans don’t want that.

People want normalcy. People want compassion. People want honesty. People want leaders who bring people together rather than tear them apart.

And that’s why what we’ve built together (and continue to build) matters so much.

When corporate media bent the knee, this community stood firm. When others normalized dangerous behavior, this community pushed back. When people said independent media couldn’t compete, you proved them wrong.

Together, we’ve shown that people are hungry for truth, hungry for accountability, and hungry for communities that actually stand for something.

Building this network alongside all of you has truly been one of the greatest honors of my life.

And while I know things remain difficult, I also feel something this morning that I see you feeling as well.

I feel hope.

I feel like the spell is beginning to break.

A little bit this week.

A little bit more next week.

And a little bit more after that.

I can see a path forward.

That doesn’t mean we get complacent. It doesn’t mean we get arrogant. It doesn’t mean we stop fighting.

Quite the opposite.

We have to keep our heads down. We have to stay focused. We have to remain true to our values. We have to continue showing up every single day.

Because the next few months are going to be crucial.

The next year could very well define this time in history

And history is going to remember who stood up during this moment and who remained silent.

So let’s keep growing. Let’s keep building. Let’s keep fighting.

And let me just say this on a Sunday morning: It’s an honor to be in this fight with you.

It’s an honor to be your friend.

It’s an honor to be in the trenches with you every single day.

Thank you for believing in this movement.

Thank you for believing in independent media.

Thank you for believing that truth still matters.

And if you’re able to become a subscriber today, it truly helps us continue growing this network and reaching even more people.

I’m grateful for every one of you.

Now I’m going to finish my coffee, get to work, and keep fighting alongside you.

Let’s keep going.

Thank you, Meidas Mighty.
