Vineyard Wind nears 30% power production

The offshore wind farm is sending power from 17 turbines to the grid. Satellite images show even more finished turbines.

Vineyard Wind 1 is an offshore wind energy project located about 24 km (15 mi) south off the coast of Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, United States. Vineyard Wind 1 features 62 fixed-bottom wind turbines, with a combined nameplate capacity of 804MW.[3] At peak production, this provides energy equivalent of powering 400,000 homes.

Let's remember that a previous WIND PROJECT was proposed & DIRTY ENERGY KOCH funded opposition & court challenges. 

CAPE WIND fought for 16 years. 

The overlooked issue is that in certain areas surrounding the Cape & Islands, tidal currents would generate power. Australia has employed TIDAL WAVE ENERGY for desalination plants.

It’s Esther.   Donald Trump is at it again, ranting on Truth Social about “WINDMILLS” killing America while claiming prices are “WAY DOWN.” Here’s some history: Trump has hated wind turbines ever since Scotland built a wind farm near his golf course. He fought it in court, he lost, and he has been throwing a tantrum about “ugly windmills” ever since.    Meanwhile, those very turbines are powering tens of thousands of homes and creating good jobs. That’s the future Trump’s trying to kill, all because he can’t let go of a grudge about his golf view.   It’d be funny if it weren’t so dangerous. Trump is still pushing policies that gut renewables, raise tariffs, and raise costs for American families, while his supporters cheer him on, blind to the facts. How embarrassing is it to have him as our “president?” I am running for Congress because I believe in powering our future with clean energy, not personal vendettas.
