Trump Release of Ghislaine Interview Instantly Backfires
The transcripts show it plain as day: Trump’s Department of Justice ran interference for a convicted sex trafficker, and for Trump himself.
I’ve spent today digging through more than 300 pages of interview transcripts between Donald Trump’s Department of Justice and Ghislaine Maxwell. Yes, the same Maxwell who is serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking minors. I know, I know… I’m supposed to be taking a break. But I needed a beach read anyway and this story is too important to wait. MAGA is already trying to rewrite history as we speak, covering up one of the most vile child sex trafficking rings in history all to protect Donald Trump. How the hell do these monstrous people live with themselves?!
This is not hyperbole. What I found is nothing short of a cover-up in action.
First, the setting: Maxwell was interviewed in Tallahassee, Florida, by none other than Todd Blanche, Trump’s own former criminal defense attorney who somehow became the DOJ’s “Number Two.” Hours of softball questioning later, Maxwell magically ended up transferred from a higher-security prison to a cushy minimum-security “Club Fed” facility in Texas, something sex traffickers are explicitly barred from. Ask yourself: what did she trade for that privilege? The transcripts give us the answer.
Maxwell fawns over Trump, insisting he was always a “gentleman,” that she “admired his extraordinary achievement” of becoming president, and that she never saw anything inappropriate. That’s her line. Over and over. And who’s feeding her these questions? Trump’s personal lawyer moonlighting as the DOJ. Instead of prosecutors pressing Maxwell about her trafficking crimes, about her recruitment of Virginia Giuffre at Mar-a-Lago, about her role in introducing Trump to Epstein, Blanche hands her immunity and protection. Literally. He says the words: “This agreement gives you protection.” Shouldn’t the DOJ be protecting the victims—not the sex trafficker?!
The whole charade is designed to erase reality. They even redact key references to victims like Maria and Annie Farmer. Meanwhile, Fox “News” coordinates the spin, portraying Maxwell’s scripted testimony as “proof” Trump was innocent all along. Convenient, right?
Here’s the truth: Maxwell wasn’t some innocent bystander. She was Epstein’s partner in crime and she was Trump’s friend and connector. She partied with Trump on her father’s yacht, the Lady Ghislaine (named after her). She brought underage girls to Mar-a-Lago, and recruited girls to be trafficked at the Mar-a-Lago spa. She was called “Madam Maxwell” in contemporaneous reporting. And now, Trump’s DOJ wanted us to believe she barely knew him? Please.
This is how cover-ups happen in plain sight: corrupt officials, handpicked lawyers, and a compliant propaganda machine working together to launder the crimes of the powerful. But we’re not buying it. We see the receipts. And we’re going to keep shining a light on every page of this disgraceful transcript until the truth cuts through the lies.
