BREAKING: Last night Trump signed an Executive Order directing the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) to "cease federal funding for NPR and PBS."

That’s not all: Congress is expected to vote any day now on a request for Public Broadcasting to GIVE BACK more than $1 BILLION in already allocated funding. This is all-out war on public media and today is an urgent all-hands-on-deck moment.

Can you urgently chip in right now to power our work to SAVE PUBLIC MEDIA from Trump and MAGA extremism?

Headline: Trump signs executive order to stop federal funding for NPR and PBS.

Trump’s request to Congress to rescind $1 billion in funding is FAR from a foregone conclusion: after a MASSIVE mobilization by this community, including two rallies outside of NPR HQ, some Republican lawmakers are starting to have second thoughts.

At least two members of Congress from Iowa and Nebraska just expressed concern about the wisdom of defunding trusted public media outlets their constituents rely on. We just need a few more to stop Trump from defunding public media and momentum is on our side – but we haven’t won yet.

We need to keep up this fight and make it clear to vulnerable Republicans that defunding PBS and NPR is unacceptable. We’re delivering our voices on the Hill, bird-dogging members of Congress, and making this massive in the media.

Can you urgently chip in right now to power our work mobilizing our 57,000 strong Citizen Army, taking to the streets in Washington, D.C., and rallying lawmakers, to protect public media from Trump and MAGA extremism?

The stakes couldn't be higher. Trump's allies in Congress want to silence independent media so that they can get away with spreading lies and disinformation even more freely. But when public broadcasting is silenced, the fact is that it’s rural communities, elderly Americans, and children who most pay the price.

Trump and his MAGA backers may think they can get away with destroying public media, but public outrage about their radical proposal to gut PBS and NPR funding is making some conservative lawmakers nervous.

Our Revolution is standing between Trump's misinformation agenda and independent media sources. We’re mobilizing volunteers, organizing petitions, and turning people's protests into real political pressure in Washington.

But we can't sustain our fight without your help. Chip in what you can today and let's stand together to protect PBS and NPR.

When we organize, we win.
