Texas Cancels 1 Million Voter Registrations — Voter Purge or List Maintenance?

This week, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced that the state has canceled over 1 million voter registrations since voter suppression law SB 1 was signed in September of 2021. But 1 million canceled registrations over 3 years in a state with almost 18 million voters on the rolls? That sounds more like regular voter roll maintenance than a voter purge.
