Dear Friend,
Two months after imposition of the most stringent and large-scale lockdown in the world, with the pandemic still undefeated, it is the Indian Republic that is looking more and more like a struggling COVID-19 patient. It is running low on oxygen in its blood, several organs are already failing, costs of treatment shooting up and the country’s leadership looks utterly confused and in delirium. For, what the Narendra Modi regime has set in motion, is a deadly ‘cytokine storm’, a phenomenon that turns the body’s immune system against itself.

India’s Deadly Cytokine Storm

Jacindaism: the new doctrine of political leadership during crisis
by Nadeem Khan
Leadership is tested during times of crisis. The present pandemic is seeing it
happen across the world. Many unexpected parts of the world have shown better corona control than those expected of better performance. Many wise men have said before that empathy, not disdain, separates great leaders from the rest. This behavioral aspect is what present New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Arden is all about.
Venezuela Can Be Protected by Quoting Martin Luther King and Other Famous Condemners of US Crimes
by Jay Janson
King cried out “The greatest purveyor of violence in the world is my own government.” Obama’s pastor, “God Bless America? No! God damn America for her crimes against humanity!” Michael Moore, “sick and twisted violent people that we’ve been for hundreds of years, it’s something that’s just in our craw, just in our DNA. Americans kill people, because that’s what we do. We invade countries. We
send drones to kill civilians.”

As the powerful USA ruling criminally insane Wall Street investors in war move toward funding armed proxy invasions of Venezuela from its giant neighbor Columbia, presently governed by allies of the US government,[1] friends of the revolutionary Chavista Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela might best consider propagating a protective literary shield of many, until now less publicly known or remembered, blistering condemnations of the US government by America’s own celebrities. The Coronavirus shutdown is increasing the influence of social media and cell phone protest.
Quote Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King!
Martin Luther King is the only American whose birthday is celebrated with a national holiday, a three day holiday as it turns out. Fifty-three years ago newspapers throughout the world ran headlines in large bold print, KING CALLS US “GREATEST PURVEYOR of VIOLENCE IN WORLD,” and reported King condemning ‘US atrocity wars and covert violence since 1945 on three continents to maintain unjust predatory investments.’
Reminding today’s world pubic of King’s condemnation of his own government will be breaking criminal media’s fifty year black out of King’s anguish outcry during America’s genocidal war in Vietnam, and cause a real problem for US government and its criminal media propagandizing its good intentions toward the people of Venezuela.
“So far we may have killed a million of them, mostly children. They wander into the towns and see thousands of the children, homeless, without clothes, running in packs on the streets like animals. They see the children degraded by our soldiers as they beg for food. They see the children selling their sisters to our soldiers, soliciting for their mothers.
All the while the people read our leaflets and received the regular promises of peace and democracy and land reform. Now they languish under our bombs and consider us, not their fellow Vietnamese, the real enemy. They move sadly and apathetically as we herd them off the land of their fathers into concentration camps where minimal social needs are rarely met. They know they must move on or be destroyed by our bombs.
So they go, primarily women and children and the aged. They watch as we poison their water, as we kill a million acres of their crops. They must weep as the bulldozers roar through their areas preparing to destroy the precious trees. What do the peasants think as we ally ourselves with the landlords and as we refuse to put any action into our many words concerning land reform? What do they think as we test out our latest weapons on them, just as the Germans tested out new medicine and new tortures in the concentration camps of Europe? …We have destroyed their two most cherished institutions: the family and the village. We have destroyed their land and their crops. We have cooperated in the crushing of the nation’s … unified Buddhist Church. We have supported the enemies of the peasants of Saigon. We have corrupted their women and children and killed their men.”
In this earth shaking sermon ‘Beyond Vietnam — A Time to Break Silence,’
delivered 4 April 1967 at Riverside Church in New York City, King actually cited Venezuela as having been already targeted in his time:
delivered 4 April 1967 at Riverside Church in New York City, King actually cited Venezuela as having been already targeted in his time:
“During the past ten years, we have seen emerge a pattern of suppression which has now justified the presence of U.S. military advisors in Venezuela. This need to maintain social stability for our investments accounts for the counterrevolutionary action of American forces in Guatemala. It tells why American helicopters are being used against guerrillas in Cambodia and why American napalm and Green Beret forces have already been active against rebels in Peru.”
Broad public exposure to Kings devastating condemnation of his governments nightmarish invasions and bombings spoken four years after his much media heralded ‘I have a dream’ speech at the march on Washington, will lead to embarrassment for the US elite, probably some awkward attempt to downgrade America’s hero and a loss of credibility for both US media and US government spokespersons attempting to justify their sanctions and other attacks on the socialist oriented governments of Venezuela, Cuba and Nicaragua.

Quote Rev. Jeremiah Wright!
of Chicago, former pastor of the family of ex-President Barack Obama
During the time of the 2008 US presidential campaign Rev. Jeremiah Wright of Chicago, then pastor of the family of candidate Barack Obama’s family gave a dramatic sermon castigating America for her genocidal wars on Native Americans, her genocidal enslavement of Africans, and her continuing genocidal bombings and invasions of dozens of 3rd World nations. For many days, mainstream media channels kept telecasting a video sound bite of Rev. Wright’s loudly spoken sermon’s conclusion,
“God bless America? No, No. God damn America for her crimes against humanity!” with Rev. Wright angrily shouting, his finger pointing up toward heaven. This sound bite of Rev. Wright would unvaryingly be followed by a commentator’s indulgent smile, as if Wright’s damnation was some momentary emotional unjustified theatrical outburst.
During his talk at the Martin Luther King Birthday commemoration breakfast hosted by the Chicago Teachers Union January 16, 2014. Rev. Jeremiah Wright declaimed “racism, militarism and capitalism” as ”the foundation of Western society.” Wright went on to slam President Obama saying “Every Tuesday morning, there’s a kill list that the president decides who they’re going to kill this week,”[2]

Regarding the behavior of Americans in general throughout history:
Quote Michael Moore! film maker/box office hit movies critical of US government
In December of 2012, just a few hours after the news of the Newtown school massacre broke, film maker Michael Moore, in a video, addressed Americans as the sort of
“sick and twisted violent people that we’ve been for hundreds of years, that it’s something that’s just in our craw, just in our DNA…. Americans kill people,” because that’s what we do. We invade countries. We send drones in to kill civilians. We’ve got five wars going on right now where our soldiers are killing people–I mean, five that we know of”
In his film ‘Bowling At Columbine’ Moore showed graphically that “all America is involved in the WMD killing industry.” “Though it is no secret that these weapons are taking millions of lives, even millions of children lives, a vast and critical amount of Americans remain pleased with US military action around the globe always preposterously described as ‘protecting American freedoms.”[3]

Quote Ron Paul MD US Representative and 2012 presidential candidate
During the Republican Party Presidential Candidates Debates of 2012, candidate US Rep. Ron Paul was shown repeating on prime time news programs,
‘all US invasions and bombings beginning with the war in Korea were illegal and unconstitutional and took a huge toll in human lives.’

When US officials and US media slander Venezuela’s socialist government as undemocratic,
Quote former US Attorney General Ramsey Clark
“We’re not a democracy. It’s a terrible misunderstanding and a slander to the idea of democracy to call us that. In reality, we’re a plutocracy: a government by the wealthy.” :
“US Foreign Policy is the Greatest Crime Since WWII… American aggression had already created incalculable levels of misery for the world…. the poor of the planet [are] made poorer, dominated and exploited by the foreign policies of the U.S. and its rich allies… the U.S. invasion of Iraq was ’the supreme international crime’ in the Nuremberg Judgment.” [Quoted from “Neighborhood Bully – Ramsey Clark on American Militarism”, Derrick Jensen The Sun Magazine, 2/14/2018]
Times have changed. All the above devastating denunciations of US illegal genocidal crimes against humanity will be listened to by people in a Third World now serviced not only with instant satellite reception of the powerful media of the domineering white nations, but equipped as well with sundry forms of local social media and cell phones. Then too, China, now under constant attack in US media, can be expected to mount a worldwide reaching media of its own. How soon will the presently unchallengeable power of USA wane to where Americans will be held responsible for their ‘mistaken’ genocides in Vietnam and Iraq and also lose their ability to cruelly sanction at will.
In accord with the adage “the best defense is a good offence”, Venezuelans themselves could have, with good effect, been quoting those Americans who were condemning
their government’s murderous foreign policy. When in April of 2015, Venezuelans presented a petition to President Obama against Obama’s targeting of Venezuela with sanctions, that petition could have quoted Cornel West, professor of African American Studies at Princeton University and of Religious Philosophy and Christian Studies at the Union Theological Seminary in New York, the most outspoken anti-imperialist lecturer and writer, who preached
“Obama is a war criminal, a black puppet of corporate plutocrats, head of the US killing machine.”
———————————
Perhaps in answer to the slanderous lies of the President Trump administration about Venezuela and elsewhere, some of us could just
Quote President Hugo Chavez, who was so widely beloved
(To President Ahmadinejad and the crowd)
“Let’s save the human race! Let’s finish off the US empire!
(Regarding President Bashar al-Assad of Syria)
“We send our solidarity to the people of Syria, to our brother, President Assad. They are resisting imperial aggression, the attacks of the Yankee empire and its European allies.”
(And regarding all of us)
“Capitalism is destroying the world!”
—————————————
—————————————
Up until now, the world has continually allowed Americans to get away with mass murder and maiming of many millions of innocent men, women and children in their very own beloved countries. With little solidarity of outspokeness coming from the plundered Third World, former colonies of the First World seemed to be forced to simply wait their turn to be done in again by their former ruler’s military. These vulnerable ex-colonies face an incredibly tight solidarity of the nations of Europe and overseas European descent. A good example of which is the fact that every single nation of basically Caucasian population in the world, even tiny Lichtenstein, Andorra and Monaco have been part of the occupying military led by the Americans at war in Afghanistan. In 2014, to encourage a speaking out within majority humanity, your peoples historian writing with former US Attorney General Ramsey Clark’s encouragement, yours truly wrote the widely published article below:
You Know Who is Planning to Kill Your Family, Yet You Don’t … Article speaks to a typical nation-family presently in the gunsights of the speculating interest banking industry of the plundering self-anointed ‘International Community,’ formerly similarly self-euphenized as ‘The Free World’ and for centuries known terrifyingly as ‘The Colonial Powers’. It asks why 3rd world spokespersons fail to call for prosecution of the Neocolonial Powers’ so blatantly self-indicted in heinous crimes against humanity. [OpEdNews et al 5/25/2014]
Quote Nelson Mandela, beloved as a hero even in US media for his having endured 27 years of imprisonment before becoming president of his South Africa.
”If there is a country that has committed unspeakable atrocities in the world, it is the United States of America.”
————————————————
In 2014, apropos calling for quoting famous outspoken citing of US crimes, with encouragement from former US Atty. Gen. Ramsey Clark your author had published:
Not Demanding Prosecution Facilitates Further US-NATO Genocide Concerned with present danger to their citizens, leaders of nations under the triple attack of US covert violence, media slander and cruel sanctions, seem unaware of the crippling effect bringing world attention to past US genocidal invasions and bombings would have on US media ability to continue to deceive its audience into continuing to support now obvious US crimes against humanity if they were widely discussed and denounced out in the massive 3rd world of major humanity.
In November 2013, less than a year after the death of President Hugo Chavez, I was flown to Caracas for a week, wonderful beyond words, as guest of the Ministry of Foreign Relations for study, meetings and discussions with committees in communes, in barrios, in housing developments, hospitals, factories, a new police university, the electoral commission, an election rally featuring powerful Venezuela salsa music, and an afternoon with members of the Ministry and of the Asamblea Nacional regarding goals, achievements, and functioning, and aspects of the Chavista revolution, including the Committee for rectifying past treatment of AfricanVenezuelans.
On the final day, in front an gathering of parents and school teachers at an exciting and festive new elementary school dedication, I promised the honorable Elias Jawa, the young and charming Foreign Minister, that I would dedicate the rest of my life in protection of the beautiful Chavista revolution, and good people everywhere, by working, with the support of former US Attorney General Ramsey Clark, to seed confidence in the public consciousness world wide, that sooner of later, citizens and entities of the United States of North America will be sued for genocidal crimes against humanity and crimes against peace, for compensation for wrongful death in the millions, and injuries in the tens of millions, and for reparations for massive destruction and theft of natural resources, at a cost that will make future wars and covert violence to maintain predatory investments unprofitable and thereby inoperable. And that although we know not how or where it will happen, when it becomes a topic of conversation throughout the world in the street, home, marketplace, workplace and school, a way will be found.
The following year President Maduro, while in New York to speak at the UN General Assembly Debate, visited Ramsey Clark in his apartment and after his talk at a community college, I was able to personally hand the President my article copied below, which carried a photo of President Maduro and his wife as an illustration.
MADURO! Please Remind Obama! MLK Condemned US Atrocities Covert Violence on Three Continents Pres. Maduro, slanderous Western media, promoting war and violence for capital gains of the mercilessly amoral automaton functioning speculative interest banking industry, has put you in their spotlight to better target you with defamation. This is then your opportunity to be heard a bit world-wide. In telling the truth about the USA, you will be protecting all of us, Venezuela included. Quote King’s condemnation of US Wars![OpEdNews,2/28/2014]
(Later that year, in an official statement, the then Venezuelan Foreign Minister Delcy Rodriguez did quote Martin Luther King’s calling his government the greatest purveyor of violence in the world.)
Quote the law!
Nuremberg Principles of International Law #6 The crimes hereinafter set out are punishable as crimes under international law:Crimes Against Humanity Such as (c) Inhuman acts done against any civilian population are punishable under international law.
US Sanctions on Venezuela Illegal Under UN, OAS and US Law The application of unilateral economic sanctions is an explicit violation of international law protected under the United Nation’s (U.N.) and Organization of American States’s (OAS) charters, human rights stipulations, and even national United States (U.S.) law. [TeleSur, 6/6/2019]
Venezuela MUST Sue US in Int’l. Court for Creating Famine by Sanctioning All Oil Sales & Seizing $ United Nations Convention on Genocide Article II genocide states that acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national or other group, as such: (c) deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part are punishable under international law.” [OpEdNews, 2/23//2019]
Quote the United Nations Charter, only the UN Security Council has a mandate by the international community to apply sanctions (Article 41)
Former UN special rapporteur, “US Economic Warfare Is Hurting the Economy and KILLING Venezuelans” US sanctions on Venezuela are illegal and are crimes against humanity under international law. If only this genocide could become a topic of conversation throughout the world, especially in the plundered and militarily attacked or targeted nations of the so called Third World, Americans would not be able to get away with it. [OpEdNews, 2/13//2019]
Former US Atty. Gen. Ramsey Clark points out that laws do not cease to exist while not being enforced. Now it is time to try US criminals and their bosses, the investors in Weapons of Mass Destruction on Wall Street, in the court of public opinion just as Martin Luther King Jr. brought the law down on the state and federal sitting judges, who were breaking the law and approving illegal segregation as legal. King led the marches in the street that got enough people talking, complaining, protesting and no longer willing to be silent and indifferent. Time to break silence, as Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. said, and quoted from Italian poet Dante’s L’inferno, in paraphrase that
“the hottest fires in Hell are reserved for those who, in times of moral crisis, maintain neutrality.”
It seems that those whose billions were invested in the US wars in smaller countries had arranged for Rev. King to be shot to death.[5] Be not afraid. They can’t kill the multitude of us repeating the truthful condemning words of King and other truly brave and compassionate Americans.
A Postscript of Two Cautionaries
President Franklin Roosevelt’s confidential note to a close friend, inadvertently has given us warning not to let criminal media keep its audience focused on the US president and other government officials and appointees to divert our attention from the nation’s ruling criminally insane investors in perpetual wars centered on Wall Street.
“The real truth of the matter is, as you and I know, that a financial element in the larger centers has owned the Government ever since the days of Andrew Jackson.”[Franklin D. Roosevelt, letter to Col. Edward Mandell House, 21 November 1933] (Andrew Jackson was president of the United States from 1829 to 1837)
Secondly, beware of Americans as a people inculcated over many decades by a CIA controlled and fed mainstream media to be indifferent to the death, maiming and suffering brought by Americans in uniform strangely willing to follow illegal and criminal orders to invade and bomb any country. Note the message of the articles below:
School Shootings and America’s “War Culture”. “Heroic Gun Play” Is The Air Children Breath in USA by Jay Janson [Global Research et al, 2/26/ 2018]
NRA says War Promoting TV is Teaching Kids the Glory of Killing! Parents watch the same war promoting and hero death glorifying entertainment and newscasts their children are exposed to, rarely demanding otherwise from corporations who lease the public airwaves – five Nazi media celebrities convicted at Nuremberg forgotten.[12/22/12]
Lastly, Martin Luther King, dismissed his government and spoke only to the American people, but in vain. Even his closest colleagues eventually made careers working within the government King has condemned and even his family and his church failed to support his condemnation of his government.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9] King was vilified in the press as an unpatriotic traitor until after he was shot dead.[10] Quoting King’s magnificent sermons of more than a half century ago will this time help save the world from the dangers of a dying American empire’s death throes.
Ending this call to quote, quote, quote the truth on an encouraging note, appended below is an article regarding Venezuela’s dealing with its Coronavirus as reported recently published by Global Research.

The facts show that it is Venezuela that serves as the example in Latin America. Peru, Colombia, Brazil and Ecuador are right-wing dictatorships and thus, by their very nature, incapable or not interested in adopting a humane policy to fight the pandemic.
On the other hand, Venezuela has a Bolivarian Revolutionary government. It is animated by the need to flight COVID-19 and put all its meagre resources, both human and physical, at the service of its population. The resources would be far less meagre if it were not for the crippling sanctions imposed by the US and Canada against Venezuela.

Online examinations: towards educational genocide of students of School of Open Learning

It is circa 2020 and we are in the middle of a declared pandemic and a nation-wide lockdown. In the current extraordinary circumstances, university students have been simply asked to concentrate on their studies, and now, be ready to appear for open book examinations in several leading universities. Of course, it is presumed that the poorest of the poor students – those enrolled in the open and distance learning (ODL) mode of
universities – are equipped to meet the requirements of such examinations.
