This movement was born on the doorsteps of New York’s 14th. And while it looks like we might not be able to hit the doors in the same way this time around, that doesn’t change the core of this campaign.
From day one, we have been defined by people-power. In 2018, we beat a machine with a movement. That’s because each of us — when we choose to build a democracy that works for working-class people — have the power to make progressive change a reality.

Across the country, people look towards our campaign as a vanguard of progressive change. Every person who endorses Alexandria’s reelection isn’t just endorsing her — they’re endorsing our movement and everything we’re fighting for.
That has an impact. When other members of Congress or politicians see thousands of grassroots activists aligning themselves in support of Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, and an end to mass incarceration and deportation, it entices them to join our cause.
