Nike co-founder Phil Knight kicked in $10,000 to prosecutor Nathan Vasquez’s campaign to unseat Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt, according to the latest Oregon Secretary of State filings.

Records show Knight made the donation on Sept. 7. To date, Vasquez has raised about $230,000 since the start of the campaign, about $100,000 more than Schmidt has raised this year.
