You Should Know What Republican Megadonor Phil Knight Is Up To...
Did you see this recent article in the Oregonian BELOW? Republican megadonor Phil Knight just gave $10,000 to our opponent’s campaign.
Mr. Knight has previously given hundreds of thousands of dollars to bolster right-wing political agendas in Oregon. Knight is making it very clear that the ultrawealthy are depending on our opponent to undo the criminal justice reform work that DA Mike Schmidt has enacted and take us back to the same old criminal justice policies that have been failing Multnomah County for decades.
Our opponent may have some deep pocketed friends, but I know we can win this race because Mike Schmidt shares Oregonian values.

Nike co-founder Phil Knight kicked in $10,000 to prosecutor Nathan Vasquez’s campaign to unseat Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt, according to the latest Oregon Secretary of State filings.
Records show Knight made the donation on Sept. 7. To date, Vasquez has raised about $230,000 since the start of the campaign, about $100,000 more than Schmidt has raised this year.
