The assault on disability rights in America has reached a breaking point, and it’s being enabled by the Trump regime.

A coalition of nine states, led by Texas, has filed a lawsuit (Texas v. Kennedy) to strike down the "Integration Mandate" of Section 504, and Trump is ensuring they have no opposition.

Their goal? To stop the federal government from requiring that people with disabilities be served in their own communities rather than being forced into institutions.

Trump has fired the watchdogs, cut funding, and his Department of Justice has refused to defend our civil rights. This is a direct attack on our independence. If these states succeed, the progress we’ve made could be erased.

The Stakes are Staggering:

• 7.5 Million Students: 15% of public school children rely on Section 504 for the basic accommodations they need to learn.

• The Right to Home: Forcing disabled people into institutions isn't just "budgeting" - it’s a violation of our civil rights.

• Dismantled Oversight: With the Office for Civil Rights already seeing a 50% reduction in staff, there is no one left to watch the hen house.
