EXCLUSIVE: READ RO KHANNA LETTER ON GHISLAINE DEPOSITION
As Ghislaine Maxwell prepares to invoke the Fifth, Rep. Ro Khanna submits the exact Epstein-related questions he wants answered, and demands they be preserved in the official record.
MeidasTouch has obtained a letter from Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) to House Oversight Chair James Comer (R-KY) that lays bare what’s expected to happen at Ghislaine Maxwell’s closed-door, virtual deposition tomorrow.
According to the letter, Maxwell intends to invoke her Fifth Amendment rights and refuse to answer all substantive questions related to Jeffrey Epstein, Donald Trump, and more. Rather than asserting the Fifth on a question-by-question basis, Maxwell is expected to read a prepared statement at the outset and decline to answer anything.
In Khanna’s letter, the congressman notes that Maxwell did not invoke the Fifth when she previously met with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche to discuss substantially similar subject matter. That contrast, Khanna writes, raises serious questions about the scope and purpose of her refusal to testify now.
In advance of Maxwell’s stonewalling, Khanna has now submitted, in advance, the exact questions he intends to ask Maxwell and asks Comer to confirm whether she will invoke the Fifth in response to each one. Those questions go straight to the core of the Epstein scandal, including:
Maxwell’s prior claim that there were “four named co-conspirators” and 25 additional men who were not indicted
Who those individuals are and why they were never charged
What evidence or personal knowledge Maxwell has about decisions not to prosecute
Her documented social relationship with Trump and Epstein, including whether access to underage girls was ever facilitated
Whether any discussions occurred about a pardon or sentence reduction after Trump publicly said he would “look at” a pardon
What client lists or records existed documenting Epstein’s associates
Whether Epstein shared information with or acted on behalf of foreign governments or intelligence services
Khanna also formally requests that his letter be entered into the official record at the start of the deposition. The message is clear: if Maxwell chooses silence, Congress, and the public, will still have a permanent record of the questions she refused to answer.
