Members of the military have a duty to obey lawful orders but must not obey patently unlawful orders. Given the administration's unlawful, deadly strikes in international waters, our troops are being put in difficult and dangerous circumstances by Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth. The National Institute of Military Justice has create The Orders Project to provide real-time, informed advice for military members who are trying to lawfully navigate the difficult situation in which they are being put.
