Sustainable Middleborough is on the agenda (attached) of the Middleborough Gas & Electric Commission at 5 pm, tomorrow Wednesday, 10/9, Select Board Room, Town Hall.
We could use your support as an observer in the room. Last month we made a bold request to increase our utility’s budget for rebates and energy assessments by 33%. The attached letter explains why. The commissioners put our request on the letter for discussion and vote at this meeting.
Our group has learned that by showing up at every single meeting over the past 5 years we can have a real impact on local policy. Our new website lists 10 local policy decisions that affect you right here in Middleborough, where we have been an active voice.
These meetings have been lasting 30-45 minutes lately. Please come if you can.
