This is it: it’s primary election day in New York, which means we’re running out of time to re-elect Rep. Jamaal Bowman in NY-16.
Jamaal faces a corrupt, racist, career politician hand-picked by AIPAC, and $15 million in attacks from AIPAC’s Super PAC, which is primarily funded by right-wing millionaires and billionaires.
It’s truly now or never: will you rush $10 or more immediately to fuel our efforts to get out the vote for Jamaal before the polls close at 9 PM?
Jamaal is a generational leader and a figurehead of our progressive movement who stood strong in the face of right-wing interests despite the potential political cost. He did it not only to help the people of Palestine but to help our movement figure out how progressives forge a path forward in the face of tens of millions of dollars of attacks without compromising on our values. This is not only courageous, but deeply necessary.
The last three cycles of success in electing some of the most progressive, working-class leaders of our lifetime have shown us that in order to get things done, you have to be willing to take big risks. None of what the Squad and Jamaal have accomplished in Congress would be possible without their willingness to challenge power and speak out.
Time and time again, Jamaal has stood up for everyday people and human rights, both here and abroad. Now, let’s stand up for him in this fight for his House seat.
Let’s keep Jamaal fighting for the children, working families, and communities of NY-16 instead of a politician bought by AIPAC: pitch in ANY amount now to boost our final GOTV efforts.
Jamaal was an underdog when we first recruited him to run against a powerful, establishment incumbent, but through people power, we won. Let’s harness that same energy to ensure he wins again in today’s primary.
