"I've never said that before, I've never been here before.”

Win Without War

When the U.S. government flexes even a small amount of influence, seismic shifts follow.

On Thursday, President Biden shared his outrage over the Israeli military’s killing of seven World Central Kitchen workers directly to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Within hours, the Israeli cabinet voted to increase aid deliveries in Gaza — a welcome sea change in its months-long siege that can help tens of thousands of people avoid famine.

There’s no need to wait for the Israeli military to make another deadly decision for President Biden to do all he can to save lives now. President Biden should enforce U.S. law immediately to suspend U.S. military aid to Israel and ensure the indiscriminate killing of aid workers and mass starvation of Palestinians ends today.

The U.S. government is likely the only one capable of swaying the Israeli government from deepening the crisis and tipping the entire region into all-out war — and that’s why Win Without War’s work is more important than ever.

Right now, our team is furiously working overtime to pressure the Biden administration to get U.S. policy back in line with U.S. law — and our values. It means pulling the Israeli government back from its punishing strategy to re-center getting the hostages back to their families, saving lives across Palestine, Israel, and beyond, and creating the space for a lasting peace.

It’s urgent, critically needed work, but, this sprint is turning into a marathon. We can’t build peace overnight. That’s why we’re asking you to join us for the long term. Our average monthly donation is $23.80. Can you match that or commit to any amount today?

Yes, I'll donate $23 monthly to help Win Without War keep building the political space for peaceful solutions that can save lives in the Middle East and beyond!

Since Hamas’ abhorrent attacks on October 7, violence has spilled across the Middle East. Israeli jets recently struck an Iranian embassy compound in Syria, setting off fears of a larger regional war and open conflict between Iran and the United States.

One thing is certain: War is impossible to contain.

That tragic reality is why our small team has been working round the clock. We’ve amplified the call for de-escalation and ceasefire in print ads, posters across the National Mall, and billboards in front of the White House and State Department. We’ve organized peacemakers from Israel and Palestine to come directly to DC to speak truth to power. We’ve made non-stop calls to Hill and White House staff and mobilized tens of thousands of activists from across the globe to demand the U.S. government use its powerful influence to save lives.

We’re not slowing down, because all this work is making an incredible impact: Just this week, Senator Chris Coons (D-DE), a longtime Biden-ally and influential member of Congress, was asked about conditioning U.S. military funding to the Israeli military. His response? “I think we’re at that point…I've never said that before, I've never been here before.”

With influential decision-makers like Senator Coons, Defense Secretary Austin, First Lady Jill Biden, and others all speaking out like never before, we can’t afford to let up the pressure. Peace is still possible, but it will take more time and energy to make it a reality.

To ensure we have the resources necessary for what comes next, Win Without War needs 136 people to start a monthly donation before the end of April. If you can give $5, we're asking you to give $5. If you can match our monthly average of $23, please give that. What matters most is you stay committed to our work — and a movement dedicated to peace.

Can we count on you? If Yes, click here to donate $23 monthly and help Win Without War keep building the political space for peaceful solutions that can save lives in the Middle East and beyond!

We’ve said it before but it bears repeating: Your commitment, activism, and generosity inspire us.

Tomorrow marks six months of this horrible crisis, but together, we not only reckon with so much pain and suffering — we continue to build something better from it: A world where we can all live and thrive without the threat of violence.

We don’t know what the next six months will bring, but we do know that this work won’t stop until every hostage taken by Hamas returns to their families and the Israeli government’s bombing campaign against people in Gaza ends. We’re committed to using every tool we’ve got to do it, but we can’t do it without you. We’re so grateful for the ways — big and small — you contribute to this effort every day.

Thank you for working for peace,
The Win Without War team
