ONWARD!

It’s been more than two weeks since the people of Philadelphia delivered a resounding message that we must move forward to reform our criminal justice system. The people of Philadelphia were clear: they want more investments in prevention, real solutions, and more fairness in the justice system

Larry won the Democratic nomination for District Attorney of Philadelphia last month by a 30-point margin -- an enormous victory not just for our city, but for our entire movement.

Last summer, hundreds of thousands of Americans took to the streets to demand reforms to our criminal justice system. Larry’s victory in Philadelphia is a testament to the strength of that movement. And this victory will serve as inspiration to countless other candidates in cities across the country who are ready to turn the page on the “tough-on-crime” and “lock-em-up” policies of the past.

It's important to remember that Larry's victory was a direct result of the movement you helped build. Thanks to you, our movement is gaining strength and pushing forward.

Our fight, however, is not over. We still have a general election in November, when Larry faces off against Chuck Peruto, a right-wing candidate who would take our city -- and movement -- backward if elected.

Thank you for all you did to make this victory possible. And thanks for staying with us in the fight.

Onward,

Team Krasner

From the beginning, this has been a movement for the people, by the people, and we need your support!
Though we may feel the fight JUST ended, we must remember the fight is NEVER over.
We must use the momentum of this movement to continue to see the change and hope we voted for!
